An Inspired Poem: Pieces of Me

A reflective poem about healing, rediscovering your identity, releasing what no longer serves you, and rebuilding a life with intention and hope.

Once whole, I’ve shattered into fragments,
Each piece a story, a scar, a strength.
I stand amidst the shards, hands trembling,
Choosing what to mend, what to release.

A kaleidoscope of roles and dreams,
Familiar shapes now foreign,
Each shard a question:
Who am I without the whole?

I lift a fragment, light catches its edge—
It whispers resilience,
Another hums with hope,
And yet, some cut too deep to keep.

Slowly, with care,
I reassemble not what was, but what will be,
A mosaic of intention,
Crafted from chaos,
Each piece a vow to honor my journey ahead.
